Community Capacity-Building Program for Drought Response

This program is designed for leaders who want to bring a community together to assess drought impacts and explore actions to combat the drought. It is important to note that the program is based on research and experience with community development and long-term recovery efforts in past disasters. While this program can be used by any community leadership team, it is best used with the involvement of local Cooperative Extension Service and National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster leaders.
