Improving Flood Insurance Literacy to Support Resilient Communities

This training program is intended to educate homeowners and housing professionals about the National Flood Insurance Program, real vs. perceived flood risk, mitigation methods, and basics on the claims and cleanup process. Materials provided include the master slide deck, which can be modified to include a beginner session and a more advanced session, decision making tools, social media graphics, a video lesson, an implementation guide and speaking points (in the slide deck). This Moodle Course can be accessed as a guest without a required login.
